Melissa Varga

Harp

Melissa Varga performs throughout southern Arizona and teaches private lessons in her harp studio. She received her Master of Music and Bachelor of Music degrees from the University of Arizona where she was a member of the international touring harp ensemble, HarpFusion. From 2007-2011 she toured with HarpFusion and performed in Brazil, China, Belgium, Holland, Liechtenstein and in the Southwest of the United States.

Melissa has been performing as principal harpist with SASO since 2012. She is active in the harp community and serves on the board of the local chapter of the American Harp Society, (S.O.P.H.I.A. Tucson). She also teaches Let’s Play Music, a music theory and keyboard class for young children, which prepares kids for private music lessons in any instrument.
