Jean Agnew

Piano

Jean Agnew has been musically active since age 3, when she started taking piano lessons because her mom was desperate for her to have a distraction. Soon after, she added violin, clarinet and cello to her studies. Besides being involved in school band and orchestras, she was a member of two youth orchestras in Colorado and competed in solo and ensemble competitions throughout the Denver area. She continued her piano study in college, completing a double major in piano performance and duo piano performance at Hastings College under the direction of Dr. Garik Pedersen. She has also studied with pianists Ruth Moore, Paul Parmelee and John Browning. Jean is extremely proud to serve as the choral accompanist at Pusch Ridge Christian Academy. She is also a pianist/keyboardist with the Southern Arizona Symphony Orchestra.
