
Viktoriia Vostrykova
Flute
Born in 2001 in Sievierodonetsk, Ukraine, Viktoriia began her flute studies at age 5. By age 10, she was already performing with the local symphony orchestra and wind band, eventually winning numerous national and international solo competitions.
In 2016 she began her formal studies at Kriviy Rig’s music college before earning a scholarship at the Ukrainian National Academy of Music in 2019. While in Kyiv, Viktoriia was serving as the principal flutist for the National Academy Symphony Orchestra and performing as a piccolo player with the National Chamber Orchestra. In 2022, she moved to Spain to continue her graduate education at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Vigo. During this time, she also trained under Vicens Prats (Paris Orchestra) at Michel Plasson’s academy in France.
Since 2024, she has continued her music career in Tucson, Arizona. She has already performed as the principal flutist and second flute/piccolo with the Sierra Vista Symphony Orchestra and became a member of the Southern Arizona Symphony Orchestra in 2025.
In addition to her performance career, Viktoriia is a passionate educator, maintaining a private flute studio where she mentors the next generation of flutists.
